Lyrics:

Got that six string on my birthday
I was dreaming rock and roll
Standing on the table only five years old
Singing songs don't know the meaning
Got addicted to the feeling
Yeah, those memories turn to stories
For when we grow old
Yeah we're all searching for
Something to believe in and the
Songs that we'll be singing 'till the day we die
Give me a backroad
Give me a radio and turn it up loud
Blow the speakers tonight
Hey!
Turn it up loud blow the speakers tonight
When I finally saved the money
Put it down on that old ford
With its torn-up vinyl bench seat
And two dents in the door
Yeah, I would drive into the city
Playing songs from Keith to Whitley
Yeah these speakers played the soundtrack
For when we grow old
Yeah we're all searching for
Something to believe in and the
Songs that we'll be singing 'till the day we die
Give me a backroad
Give me a radio and turn it up loud
Blow the speakers tonight
C'mon
Yeah we've been searching for
Something to believe in and the
Song that we'll be singing 'till the day we die
Give me a backroad
Give me a radio and turn it up loud
Blow the speakers tonight
So don't apologise for
Living hard and loving life
Yeah, we ain't perfect but damn we try
Give me a backroad
Give me a radio and turn it up loud
Blow the speakers tonight
Whoo oh oh
Turn it up loud
Blow the speakers tonight
Whoa oh oh oh
Yeah
Alright
Turn it up loud
Blow the speakers tonight
