Some of the first things I can remember as a kid, my mother had
some 78s of Lefty and Hank, Sr. And I remember sittin' in the floor
with those records and playin' them. And I kinda tried to take
certain things I learned from Lefty, things I learned from George, and
combined that with the things I learned from Bluegrass music and
come up with my own style, but I guess its inevitable that, ah, people
are going to compare you with someone. And if I'm gonna be compared
with someone, you know, I'd rather be Lefty than anybody I know of,
you know.
