Has it occurred to you that this is all you've ever had
A world created by perception?
Have you yet thoguht it through the things you see as good and bad
Are nothing more than learned projections, recollections from your childhood
We're thinking so high
And we're guessing the answers are somewhere we can find
As the seasons go by
And asking brings more questions
Questions bring more light
Is all we ever do determined by what You've forseen?
Are we bound by predestination?
Are You becoming who we've all assumed You've always been?
Are You bound by Your own creation or the nations of philosophers?
We're thinking so high
And we're guessing the answers are somewhere we can find
As the seasons go by
And asking brings more questions
Questions bring more light
As we look up and wonder
As we see Jesus, God's reply
We find the answers in the Son
But that don't end the questions
It gives them meaning, gives them light
I won't stop asking till the kingdom has come
