I thought to myself, that's a vampire;
one must be careful.
I said: 'Just a minute, I'll look at my identification.
'O-Rh-negative.
Then he screwed up his face
and said: 'Darn it!
That's just the kind that I can't tolerate!'
To console him, I invited him
for a glass of beer.
But he said that wouldn't be any pleasure for him:
'It must be this special red juice.
There is only one drink that I find good, and that is blood!'
We conversed with one another very well
about the weather, God, and the world,
and he told me about his vampire life
and that he enjoyed it a lot.
He said: 'I don't need to slave away,
running to the office every day.
During the day I sleep in my sarcophagus,
and at night I go out drinking!
'Well, if that is the case, then I would like to be a vampire, too.
Then he said, 'Turn in your application at
the Transylvanian office of testing
and for that you'll need a certificate from your dentist
because if your teeth are too short
you will never get into our club!'
